Reinaldo Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Adalberto Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mexilhão F. C. getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Serafim Motta hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the game Oswaldo Rosa took the chance and shot a long shot on goal. In spite of Marcelinho Matorin awareness of the shot he didn't succeed to stop the ball, and watched as it rolled inside the left pole. 2-0. Eliézer Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Bernardo de Salles reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcelinho Matorin. The goal made the score 3-0. After 29 minutes of play, O MOTIVO ⚽'s Vito Hoffmann made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelinho Matorin was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Felippe Mineiro in the 32nd minute of play forced O MOTIVO ⚽'s goalkeeper Adalberto Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vito Hoffmann in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelinho Matorin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute Vito Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vito Hoffmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Felippe Mineiro fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexilhão F. C.'s protests and gave Felippe Mineiro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mexilhão F. C. getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Felippe Mineiro hit a great ball. Marcelinho Matorin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardo de Salles's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After 53 played minutes Mexilhão F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Motta. Marcelinho Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo de Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Oswaldo Rosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelinho Matorin. Mexilhão F. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oswaldo Rosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 61 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Rosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. O MOTIVO ⚽'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexilhão F. C. the free kick. The supporters of Mexilhão F. C. booed when O MOTIVO ⚽ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswaldo Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oswaldo Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Bernardo de Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelinho Matorin having to interfere. The supporters of Mexilhão F. C. booed when O MOTIVO ⚽ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Mexilhão F. C. getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Nelsinho Dantas hit a great ball. Marcelinho Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Mexilhão F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dieguinho Pimenta came free, but Marcelinho Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelinho Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Quintal in the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the game, Vito Hoffmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Marcelinho Matorin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. O MOTIVO ⚽ had played much better football throughout.
