With an extended leg and a bit of luck Markus Albäck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute Philip Hedvall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Seber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alto Jering in the 24th minute of play forced Nye's goalkeeper Markus Albäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Pablo Solari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Albäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Nye's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Cheche came free, but Markus Albäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Pablo Solari left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dogo Argentino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5.
The wind increased when Cristo Cheche made the kick off in the second half. Nye's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Cristo Cheche scored to the left of an out of position Markus Albäck, making the score, 0-6. In the 58th minute Cristo Cheche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Albäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Santos Dayam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Markus Albäck was a little too slow when Alto Jering got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-7. Markus Albäck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pablo Solari went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Cristo Cheche put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Markus Albäck. In the 92nd minute of the match, Pablo Solari got a very nice opportunity to score, but Markus Albäck was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pablo Solari in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. When the match was over Dogo Argentino could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nye throughout the match.
