The referee ignored La Scaloneta's protests and gave Alexis Mac Allister a yellow card for diving instead. Lion Messi charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lion Messi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ioseba Gonzalvez got free with Dibag Martinez in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Betão de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lion Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Betão de Moraes came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by La Scaloneta's Lion Messi. But to his dismay, Lion Messi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Betão de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lion Messi in the 65th minute of play. If Ioseba Gonzalvez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ioseba Gonzalvez got free with Dibag Martinez in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 71 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Mac Allister. With a little luck, La Scaloneta's Dibag Martinez got control of the ball when Ioseba Gonzalvez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ioseba Gonzalvez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dibag Martinez came out and tried to block the shot, but Ioseba Gonzalvez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 84th minute. When Rodri De Paul fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Scaloneta's protests and gave Rodri De Paul a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Rodri De Paul got a free kick in the 89th minute. La Scaloneta's Dibag Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almir de Amorim in the 93rd minute of play.
