Michel Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizinho Arce in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute Severino Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kong Gang Zhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goalkeeper Michel Seco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Batista. Michel Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Batista came free, but Michel Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horácio Simão during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cremonese FC booed when Nova Iguaçu MZFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jean Pena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kong Gang Zhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Marcus Batista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Michel Seco made a huge save. Cremonese FC's Felipe Branco couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nova Iguaçu MZFC. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dorival Brodel in the 36th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Yasar Bonnemain came free, but Michel Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severino Falcão to make the kick off. Guilherme Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Kong Gang Zhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michel Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Batista in the 53rd minute of play. Michel Seco came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Cremonese FC's Yasar Bonnemain. But to his dismay, Yasar Bonnemain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 58 minutes into the match, Luizinho Arce had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michel Seco. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luizinho Arce was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 62nd minute Alfredão Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Kong Gang Zhan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 65th minute, Yasar Bonnemain made a precise shot to the right of Michel Seco. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Cremonese FC's Dida Tróia was substituted for Luizinho Arce. In the 69th minute Severino Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kong Gang Zhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Cremonese FC defense, Severino Falcão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kong Gang Zhan. The Cremonese FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kong Gang Zhan should have stopped the shot. After 74 played minutes Cremonese FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Cosme. In the 75th minute, Alfredão Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the game, Cremonese FC's Dida Tróia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michel Seco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After some careless play in the Nova Iguaçu MZFC defense, Yasar Bonnemain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michel Seco. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michel Seco should have stopped the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Batista came free, but Michel Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
