The referee ignored All Boys 22's protests and gave Hipolito Lucila a yellow card for diving instead. A hard shot by Dalmo Hoffmann from long distance, 11 minutes into the match, got Elpidio Selmo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Michel Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Umea in the 12th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severino Falcão made a kick off. Severino Falcão ran back to his position shaking his head. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dorival Brodel in the 55th minute. Dorival Brodel made a great header on Nova Iguaçu MZFC's corner, it was just that All Boys 22's Elpidio Selmo managed to reach the ball for a save. The All Boys 22 players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Nova Iguaçu MZFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
