In the 3rd minute, Gualter Amaral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Joachim was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Niceto Daunte might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cido Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niceto Daunte ran back to his position shaking his head. Ubaldo Lico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Cido Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kikemania FC's Eleuterio Guipuzkoa got a free kick in the 14th minute. Romarinho Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Kikemania FC's Cesar Faron got a free kick in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Kaká Ferreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Adelino Miranda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Generoso Joachim was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 47th minute Henrique dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Joachim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Kikemania FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlético de Crisal were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niceto Daunte to make the kick off. Romarinho Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 58 minutes into the match, Kikemania FC's goalkeeper Generoso Joachim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adelino Miranda.
