Benigno Guillem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Garikoitz in the 4th minute of play. With a little luck, Camarón Bombay's Raul Pueblo got control of the ball when Silvestre Ekialde tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beto Acosta's late challenge caught a La Candela FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beto Acosta helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes Camarón Bombay got a freekick which was hit by Beto Acosta. Silvestre Ekialde's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Raul Pueblo firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, La Candela FC's Generoso Gaskon got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 23 played minutes Camarón Bombay got a freekick which was hit by German Euloxu. The supporters of Camarón Bombay booed when La Candela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Abancens didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Alonso in the 26th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Benigno Guillem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Beto Alonso notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of La Candela FC's Benigno Guillem. Benigno Guillem was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the match, Beto Alonso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benigno Guillem. La Candela FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beto Alonso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Raul Pueblo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Estebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Benigno Guillem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dieguito Riquelme in the 54th minute of the match. Raul Pueblo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Abancens in the 55th minute of play. Camarón Bombay's Raul Pueblo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Abancens in the 58th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Beto Alonso took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Benigno Guillem to make any attempt to save it. La Candela FC's Joaquin Domenec was substituted for Amadeo Fliz. Benigno Guillem made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Dieguito Riquelme sent off a good shot on target. The referee felt a red card was in order, 76 minutes into the game, when Vicente Gerazan put in a rough tackle. La Candela FC made a substitution. Gabriel Vargas replaced Bartolo Estebe. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of La Candela FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Camarón Bombay:s goal. Beto Acosta walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 82 minutes into the match, Camarón Bombay's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Vargas came free, but Raul Pueblo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Garikoitzs short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Benigno Guillem to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Celestino Guilabertus kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Dieguito Riquelme took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benigno Guillem. La Candela FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The La Candela FC fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when La Candela FC's Amancio Abancens looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
