The referee showed Emil Karbowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Soczewki Gliwice:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BK Värdsholmen:s goal. In the 8th minute, Roy Hamberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Witomir Kossakowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Peder Gernbergs short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Witomir Kossakowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Witomir Kossakowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Malcolm Hammarbäck in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszko Bara in the 18th minute of play forced BK Värdsholmen's goalkeeper Sebastian Walroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Walroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezary Pacholewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Malcolm Hammarbäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witomir Kossakowski having to interfere. In the 27th play minute Åke Öman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Witomir Kossakowski. 2-0. In the 30th match minute, Soczewki Gliwice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Karbowski to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Witomir Kossakowski managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when BK Värdsholmen's Peder Gernberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 32nd minute, Marek Walec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Peder Gernberg put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Witomir Kossakowski.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Malcolm Hammarbäck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The BK Värdsholmen fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when BK Värdsholmen's Peder Gernberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Witomir Kossakowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peder Gernberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Malcolm Hammarbäck notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Soczewki Gliwice's Witomir Kossakowski. Witomir Kossakowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Witomir Kossakowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Öman in the 84th minute of play. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Malcolm Hammarbäck sped through Soczewki Gliwice's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Witomir Kossakowski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Hammarbäck in the 89th minute of play forced Soczewki Gliwice's goalkeeper Witomir Kossakowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Håkan Eklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Witomir Kossakowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Witomir Kossakowski came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by BK Värdsholmen's Malcolm Hammarbäck. But to his dismay, Malcolm Hammarbäck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. When the referee ended the match the BK Värdsholmen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
