The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nusaybin GençLikSpor's Serdar Ulualp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Hammarbäck in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kong Jun Ying got free with Sebastian Walroth in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute of the match, Gökalp Rakim got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sebastian Walroth was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nusaybin GençLikSpor's Serdar Ulualp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Hammarbäck in the 38th minute of play. Serdar Ulualp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm Hammarbäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Malcolm Hammarbäck made the kick off in the second half. Bülent Turgay hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Kong Jun Ying had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Walroth. BK Värdsholmen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kong Jun Ying was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Nusaybin GençLikSpor's Kong Jun Ying got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Remo Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nusaybin GençLikSpor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Malcolm Hammarbäck scored to the left of an out of position Serdar Ulualp, making the score, 2-2. Åke Öman's late challenge caught a Nusaybin GençLikSpor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Åke Öman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Åke Öman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
