Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edgard Vides started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Anselmo Rodas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arrows Academy FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Litoral EC - CIMZ the free kick. After 2 played minutes Arrows Academy FC got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Rodas. After a defensive mix-up in Arrows Academy FC's zone, Edgard Vides stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frankie Child came out of the goal and Edgard Vides tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelino Figueroa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Claudinei Esteves made a huge save. With a little luck, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Claudinei Esteves got control of the ball when Johnny Haxby tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Arce in the 31st minute of play forced Arrows Academy FC's goalkeeper Frankie Child to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Arrows Academy FC booed when Litoral EC - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Arrows Academy FC's Phil Roy got a free kick in the 45th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelino Figueroa to make the kick off. Claudinei Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phil Roy in the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, Arrows Academy FC's Phil Roy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinei Esteves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Claudinei Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phil Roy in the 56th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Arrows Academy FC's Kurt Boyce got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Litoral EC - CIMZ made a substitution. Igor Berger replaced Aírton Capixaba. Humberto Meireles hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute Igor Berger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frankie Child saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johnny Haxby couldn't finish the play. Frankie Child made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Augusto Sena sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Litoral EC - CIMZ booed when Arrows Academy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Stayton didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Arrows Academy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geovani Arce came free, but Frankie Child reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Litoral EC - CIMZ getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Jarbas Aguiar hit a great ball. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Augusto Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
