After some careless play in the C.A.P.J. defense, Juan Romero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Narciso Montel. The C.A.P.J. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Narciso Montel should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Etxatxu in the 60th minute of play forced C.A.P.J.'s goalkeeper Narciso Montel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Romero got free with Narciso Montel in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Narciso Montel made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Juan Romero sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute, Camilo Maxin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, C.A.P.J.'s Narciso Montel got control of the ball when Juan Romero tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Scofield left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C.A.P.J..
