Gösta Lekberg charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gösta Lekberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Golden Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Lekberg. Jesper Tomasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Kemen in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Walroth came free, but Jesper Tomasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gösta Lekberg struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Victor Rudolfo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Lions FC. In the 35th minute, Wilfredo Eneko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pancha Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Ola Strömbom in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Rudolfo saved Pancha Futbol Club from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Pancha Futbol Club's zone, Alex Nordström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Rudolfo came out of the goal and Alex Nordström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cipriano Kemen to make the kick off. In the 56th minute of the match Axel Samuelsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Rudolfo skillfully saved the ball. With 60 minutes on the clock, Hector Intxixu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 59th minute, one of Pancha Futbol Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pancha Futbol Club. 65 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's Carolus Rex sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Rudolfo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victor Rudolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ola Strömbom in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Pancha Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ola Strömbom came free, but Victor Rudolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
