In the 5th match minute, Golden Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hjalmar Mattsson to maneuver through the defense. Jose José struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Jesper Tomasson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Pipon Pipon. After 17 played minutes Golden Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Erik Gustafsson. In the 26th minute of the match Danial Lefler sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jesper Tomasson skillfully saved the ball. Carolus Rex hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Nalie Brzęczyszczykiewicz came free, but Clemente Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Nalie Brzęczyszczykiewicz sped through C. A. Pipon Pipon's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clemente Armani. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

C. A. Pipon Pipon's Raphael Houser was substituted for Marcos Sewell. Colby Wheeler charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Colby Wheeler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when C. A. Pipon Pipon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Colby Wheeler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raphael Houser could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Jesper Tomasson made a huge save. Jesper Tomasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lanny Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nalie Brzęczyszczykiewicz in the 63rd minute of play forced C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Clemente Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Jose José shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesper Tomasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Carolus Rex got a free kick in the 65th minute. Jose José took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jesper Tomasson. Jesper Tomasson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Leif Västlund got a free kick in the 70th minute. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Clemente Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nalie Brzęczyszczykiewicz in the 73rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Jose José sped through Golden Lions FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jesper Tomasson. If Raphael Houser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 minutes, Axel Samuelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golden Lions FC and the C. A. Pipon Pipon players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Golden Lions FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Axel Samuelsson hit a great ball. Lanny Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesper Tomasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose José in the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Jose José dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jesper Tomasson, 1-3.
