Deportivo Empate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikel Abastas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mikel Abastas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baldomiro Elequemedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikel Abastas, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 42 minutes into the match, Pretorianos FC's goalkeeper Baldomiro Elequemedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xavon Abellaneda. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Xavon Abellaneda made the kick off in the second half. Baldomiro Elequemedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikel Abello in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Xavon Abellaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Elequemedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pretorianos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xavon Abellaneda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The referee showed Arnaldo Tome the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pretorianos FC:s Baldomiro Elequemedo showed great skill when he stopped Gonza Abendano:s penalty. Octavio Aballe's late challenge caught a Pretorianos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavio Aballe helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Deportivo Empate getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Octavio Aballe hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Firme Abastas during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
