When Yağızhan Baştürk came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the blackeagle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yağızhan Baştürk couldn't finish the play. The supporters of blackeagle booed when Club Deportivo Águila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Orobio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, blackeagle's goal looked a bit too open when Libardo Fuentes came free, but Agah Ergüner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Deportivo Águila's Ricardo Peña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yağızhan Baştürk in the 20th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Fidel Uranga in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by blackeagle's Hurşit Sanal. Ricardo Peña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yağızhan Baştürk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fidel Uranga kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Esteban Pérez kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Alparslan Çubuk lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in blackeagle fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! Agah Ergüner had in the 46thth minute some difficulties stopping Baltazar Del Cid's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 46th minute, Baltazar Del Cid ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agah Ergüner was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half Club Deportivo Águila were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Mehmet Akif Emrettin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Libardo Fuentes got free with Agah Ergüner in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes into the match, blackeagle's goalkeeper Agah Ergüner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Libardo Fuentes. A collision led to blackeagle getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Yağızhan Baştürk hit a great ball. Agah Ergüner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Libardo Fuentes in the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, blackeagle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yağızhan Baştürk to maneuver through the defense. blackeagle's attentive Orhan Veli Aytekin managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Orobio made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. In the 71st minute, Hurşit Sanal made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Peña. Club Deportivo Águila's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Agah Ergüner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Pineda, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Agah Ergüner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Libardo Fuentes in the 75th minute of play. After having played for 78 minutes, Vecdet Dağasan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. blackeagle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vecdet Dağasan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Peña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vecdet Dağasan in the 80th minute of the match. Efrain Orobio made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by blackeagle's Orhan Veli Aytekin. Hurşit Sanal took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Peña. Ricardo Peña dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 95 minutes into the match, blackeagle's goalkeeper Agah Ergüner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Libardo Fuentes.
