A collision led to PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Lucian Şimonca hit a great ball. Aristide Feteas short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Lucjan Trzaskoma to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Mihăilescu in the 14th minute of play forced Victoria Września's goalkeeper Lucjan Trzaskoma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Victoria Września's Lucjan Trzaskoma got control of the ball when Aristide Fetea tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Jacek Sokolski fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Victoria Września's protests and gave Jacek Sokolski a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Lucian Şimonca got a free kick in the 21st minute. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Dacian Ghițescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Sokolski in the 21st minute of play. Lucjan Trzaskoma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Mihăilescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Golo Phoenix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucjan Trzaskoma was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, Victoria Września's goal looked a bit too open when Golo Phoenix came free, but Lucjan Trzaskoma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Felix Mihăilescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Trzaskoma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Golo Phoenix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Lucjan Trzaskoma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Gurgui, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the game, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Felix Mihăilescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Golo Phoenix to strike the kick off in the second half. Dacian Ghițescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacek Sokolski in the 53rd minute of play. In the 68th minute Aristide Fetea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Trzaskoma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucjan Trzaskoma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Golo Phoenix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucjan Trzaskoma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Mihăilescu in the 76th minute of the match. Victoria Września's Lucjan Trzaskoma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristide Fetea in the 79th minute of play. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Virgil Jupân was substituted for Felix Mihăilescu. After 84 minutes of play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Aristide Fetea made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucjan Trzaskoma was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 96 minutes, Costel Gurgui mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca and the Victoria Września players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Costel Gurgui got a free kick in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca had played much better football throughout.
