Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) After a defensive mix-up in Equipo's zone, Donato Gorbea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Frantzes came out of the goal and Donato Gorbea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ★Independiente Ψ★'s Rodrigo Rey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Beltza in the 6th minute of play. 6 minutes in the game, Higinio Beltza dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Bento in the 13th minute of play forced Equipo's goalkeeper Raul Frantzes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Donato Gorbea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Frantzes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Higinio Beltza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th match minute, Equipo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Arnas to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, ★Independiente Ψ★'s goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Arnas came free, but Rodrigo Rey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Maxin during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When ★Independiente Ψ★'s Francisco Geleberto in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Equipo's goalie prevented a goal. After 36 minutes, Melchor Igon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Equipo and the ★Independiente Ψ★ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Melchor Igon kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to Equipo getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Godofredo Caradaro hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Equipo's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Gorbea came free, but Raul Frantzes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higinio Beltza's late challenge caught a ★Independiente Ψ★'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higinio Beltza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, Equipo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Beltza to maneuver through the defense. Raul Frantzes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Geleberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Higinio Beltza to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of ★Independiente Ψ★ booed when Equipo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Igon didn't get a good kick on the ball. ★Independiente Ψ★'s Marcelino Jurdan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 52nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Raul Frantzes but with some difficulty. In the 63rd minute Higinio Beltza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Rey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Frantzes came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by ★Independiente Ψ★'s Donato Gorbea. But to his dismay, Donato Gorbea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 88th minute, Amador Bertran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Amadeo Iratze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
