After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Agustin Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC FUSION's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustin Furtado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Peña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Agustin Furtado made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Peña. Club Deportivo Águila's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when Club Deportivo Águila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Orobio didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Libardo Fuentes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, AFC FUSION's Gerardo Beila got control of the ball when Baltazar Del Cid tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricardo Peña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Libardo Fuentes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Gerardo Beila made a huge save. AFC FUSION's Gerardo Beila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Libardo Fuentes in the 60th minute of play. Gerardo Beila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Libardo Fuentes in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Agustin Furtado made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Peña. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Peña prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Deportivo Águila players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AFC FUSION.
