Ronaldo Félix blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celestino Umea having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Adilson Quintal got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Manuel Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Neymar Joinvilense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alberto Montae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Umea having to interfere. Edmundo Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Tuste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 35 minutes, Neymar Joinvilense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joinville City - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neymar Joinvilense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celestino Umea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neymar Joinvilense in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adilson Quintal in the 41st minute of play forced Black StarZ's goalkeeper Celestino Umea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Edmundo Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Tuste in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Edmundo Falcão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cayetano Herauso. A collision led to Joinville City - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Roberto-Carlos Joinvilense hit a great ball. Norberto Pinto kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Celestino Umea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neymar Joinvilense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Black StarZ's Celestino Umea got control of the ball when Neymar Joinvilense tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celestino Umea made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Adilson Quintal sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Celestino Umea threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Manuel Faro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adilson Quintal got free with Celestino Umea in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Félix in the 68th minute of play forced Black StarZ's goalkeeper Celestino Umea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Black StarZ getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Isaias Tuste hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Black StarZ's zone, Manuel Faro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celestino Umea came out of the goal and Manuel Faro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Black StarZ's Celestino Umea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adilson Quintal in the 76th minute of play. In the 81st minute Manuel Faro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Umea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neymar Joinvilense got free with Celestino Umea in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celestino Umea was a little too slow when Manuel Faro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-2. The supporters of Joinville City - FSCMZ booed when Black StarZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Joinville City - FSCMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Joinville City - FSCMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
