An unexpectedly hard shot by 陆鸿亦 in the 24th minute of play forced Miau Stars's goalkeeper Percival de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Percival de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 魏义天, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 34 minutes, Rubinho Vasconcelos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miau Stars and the 宁夏固原犀牛队 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Miau Stars's Percival de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 陆鸿亦 in the 43rd minute of play. 姜鸿响's late challenge caught a Miau Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 姜鸿响 helped the player get up and apologised. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
