An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Osmundo in the 4th minute of play forced El Patriarca ®'s goalkeeper Djimmy Guimard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Epifanio Lopes sped through Black StarZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Celestino Umea. Djimmy Guimard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Tuste, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Alberto Montae hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Apolo Galsino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 played minutes El Patriarca ® got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Seber. Cayetano Herauso struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Djimmy Guimard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black StarZ. In the 26th minute, Marcelino Abajas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Celestino Umea, passed just outside the right post. Djimmy Guimard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Tuste, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 41st minute, Cayetano Herauso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Patriarca ®'s Djimmy Guimard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Herauso in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Tuste was the one to do the kick off. When Adolfo Qwinton fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Patriarca ®'s protests and gave Adolfo Qwinton a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, El Patriarca ®'s Adolfo Qwinton got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 55th minute of the match, Isaias Tuste tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Djimmy Guimard saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Severino Lastur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robustiano Ferman charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robustiano Ferman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th match minute, Black StarZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Ferman to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Isaias Tuste hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanio Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Umea having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelino Abajas in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celestino Umea saved Black StarZ from getting behind. After 68 played minutes El Patriarca ® got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Etxahun. El Patriarca ®'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Isaias Tuste scored to the left of an out of position Djimmy Guimard, making the score, 1-1. Severino Lastur kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, Black StarZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Omero to maneuver through the defense. After 88 played minutes El Patriarca ® got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Lopes. 89 minutes into the match, El Patriarca ®'s goalkeeper Djimmy Guimard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herminio Osmundo. Severino Lastur might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celestino Umea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severino Lastur ran back to his position shaking his head. 95 minutes into the game, Gregorio Seber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Patriarca ®'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black StarZ the free kick. After 95 played minutes El Patriarca ® got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Seber. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
