A collision led to Xurupita FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Henrique das Neves hit a great ball. Mamat Marasabessy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xurupita FC's Hílton Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Chumo in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, LA MAQUINA F.C's Marco Leoni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hílton Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Hílton Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mamat Marasabessy. After a rather tough play, Xurupita FC's Edu Pena got a free kick in the 29th minute. The supporters of Xurupita FC booed when LA MAQUINA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Dantae didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardino Beltran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Bonifacio Gregory hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Chumo got free with Hílton Costa in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernardino Beltran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Pena in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Lima was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute, Mamat Marasabessy made a precise shot to the right of Hílton Costa. Xurupita FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Bernardino Beltran made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Edu Pena sent off a good shot on target. If Mamat Marasabessy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th match minute, LA MAQUINA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Chumo to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Xurupita FC's Edu Pena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardino Beltran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hílton Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mamat Marasabessy in the 82nd minute of the match. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
