Matthias Forssberg charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 37th minute Áron Salamon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Gallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eddie Gallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Áron Salamon in the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Malmö White Knights's goal looked a bit too open when Áron Salamon came free, but Eddie Gallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind PMFC 2018's goalkeeper Dániel Sallói, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. PMFC 2018's Dániel Sallói played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Engman in the 46th minute of play. The PMFC 2018 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Malmö White Knights were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Áron Salamon to make the kick off. When István Lencse fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PMFC 2018's protests and gave István Lencse a yellow card for diving instead. 78 minutes in the game Gergely Menyhért did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vencel Káposztás. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koppány Keresztesi in the 81st minute of play forced Malmö White Knights's goalkeeper Eddie Gallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Malmö White Knights's Folke Engman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dániel Sallói. Dániel Sallói yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Folke Engman got free with Dániel Sallói in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Malmö White Knights walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
