Thanks to some nice moves Maura Icardi could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Wellington Barbosa however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Vasco FC's Adalberto de Souza got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 19th minute Uğuralp Ahmetoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasco FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Uğuralp Ahmetoğlu 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uğuralp Ahmetoğlu got free with Wellington Barbosa in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
