After 7 minutes, Béla Koplárovics mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pénzügyőr SE and the PMFC 2018 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Pénzügyőr SE got a freekick which was hit by Béla Koplárovics. Pénzügyőr SE's Ferdinánd Nyilasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by István Lencse in the 14th minute of play. Norbert Demeter took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinánd Nyilasi. Ferdinánd Nyilasi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Vencel Káposztás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinánd Nyilasi having to interfere. Ferdinánd Nyilasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from József Vermes in the 25th minute of the match. Vencel Káposztás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinánd Nyilasi having to interfere. Béla Koplárovics could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Dániel Sallói made a huge save. When Ferenc Berta came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Pénzügyőr SE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferenc Berta couldn't finish the play. Dániel Sallói took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferenc Berta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Pénzügyőr SE's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Demeter came free, but Ferdinánd Nyilasi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th match minute, PMFC 2018 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by István Lencse to maneuver through the defense. Áron Salamon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ferdinánd Nyilasi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferenc Berta was the one to do the kick off. Pénzügyőr SE's Ferdinánd Nyilasi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Pénzügyőr SE from getting a goal against them. Dániel Sallói showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferenc Berta in the 54th minute of the match. Dániel Sallói took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferenc Berta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by PMFC 2018's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Attila Kis was slow to take the kick. During this time Pénzügyőr SE's players had a chance to rest. Norbert Demeter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Ferdinánd Nyilasi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Béla Koplárovics received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Dániel Sallói tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 minutes PMFC 2018's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Attila Kis who took care of the corner kick. Ferdinánd Nyilasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Áron Salamon in the 76th minute of play. If Ferenc Berta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ferdinánd Nyilasi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vencel Káposztás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pénzügyőr SE getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Béla Koplárovics hit a great ball. Norbert Demeter's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ferdinánd Nyilasi firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 86th minute József Vermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinánd Nyilasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pénzügyőr SE's zone, Norbert Demeter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinánd Nyilasi came out of the goal and Norbert Demeter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, PMFC 2018's Ferdinánd Nyilasi threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vencel Káposztás, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 93rd minute, PMFC 2018's Vencel Káposztás ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ferdinánd Nyilasi. Ferdinánd Nyilasi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. The Pénzügyőr SE supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching PMFC 2018's performance. The match ended with a win for PMFC 2018.
