Cristiano Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Vervaet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nel Nelleboedskes short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Cristiano Albuquerque to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dirk-Jan Van Meenen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mathijs de Pelsmaecker charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mathijs de Pelsmaecker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes All Stars Gent got a freekick which was hit by Mathijs de Pelsmaecker. Cristiano Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nel Nelleboedske in the 84th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Henrik Vervaet managed to get in a good position for a shot. All Stars Gent's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrik Vervaet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Albuquerque breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute, Dirk-Jan Van Meenen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. All Stars Gent walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
