Cristiano Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gábor Seres in the 21st minute of the match. Ferenc Berta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Alexandre de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre de Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcell Borsos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute Ferenc Berta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Ferenc Berta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vilmos Cziráki's late challenge caught a Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vilmos Cziráki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd match minute, Pénzügyőr SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilmos Cziráki to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ booed when Pénzügyőr SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio George didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Pénzügyőr SE's Marcell Borsos got control of the ball when Amauri Barbosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 64th minute Ferenc Berta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferenc Berta charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Ademar Abraão, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 97 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Marcell Borsos was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.
