The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ede Edelényi might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Şeray Rauf. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ede Edelényi ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Nimród Vére defense, Tahir Ağaverdi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Krisztián Sydbøge. The Nimród Vére fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Krisztián Sydbøge should have stopped the shot. In the 7th minute, Vince Bártfai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 minutes Nimród Vére's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filip Hološko who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on The Last Airbender's corner Filip Hološko fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Krisztián Sydbøge quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Nimród Vére's Bendegúz Ördög got a free kick in the 11th minute. Krisztián Sydbøge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sungur Yalçın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Krisztián Sydbøge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filip Hološko's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Nimród Vére's Krisztián Sydbøge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Hološko in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute Sungur Yalçın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krisztián Sydbøge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, The Last Airbender's Şeray Rauf got control of the ball when Bendegúz Ördög tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vince Bártfai kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Sungur Yalçın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krisztián Sydbøge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Last Airbender's Tahir Ağaverdi got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Şeray Rauf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ede Edelényi in the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Last Airbender's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Örs Novák was slow to take the kick. During this time Nimród Vére's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of The Last Airbender booed when Nimród Vére was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vince Bártfai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ede Edelényi to make the kick off. After having played for 64 minutes, Filip Hološko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Last Airbender's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filip Hološko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, The Last Airbender's goal looked a bit too open when Ede Edelényi came free, but Şeray Rauf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sungur Yalçın's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Krisztián Sydbøge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Nimród Vére's goalkeeper Krisztián Sydbøge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sungur Yalçın. 72 minutes into the game, Arif Oğuz İkbal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Last Airbender's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nimród Vére the free kick. In the 72nd match minute, The Last Airbender was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Oğuz İkbal to maneuver through the defense. Şeray Rauf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ede Edelényi in the 82nd minute of play. Krisztián Sydbøge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sungur Yalçın in the 85th minute. Krisztián Sydbøge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Hološko, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The supporters of The Last Airbender booed when Nimród Vére was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbert Vadas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Nimród Vére's Sámuel Kaszás got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Filip Hološko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krisztián Sydbøge having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. The Last Airbender had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
