Spectators: 7655 (Terracing: 5743, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 152) Nitra FC's Matheus Pitta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yuri Paraense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniele Di Gregorio's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Nitra FC's Yuri Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Comunardo Villa in the 12th minute of play. Yuri Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Di Gregorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. With a little luck, CA Boca Jrs's Ercole Ceresoli got control of the ball when Matheus Pitta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eugenio Borgatello kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniele Di Gregorio in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuri Paraense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute, Daniele Di Gregorio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CA Boca Jrs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Daniele Di Gregorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedrinho Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ercole Ceresoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Nitra FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Cerezo. After the first half CA Boca Jrs were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Daniele Di Gregorio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniele Di Gregorios short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Yuri Paraense to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Daniele Di Gregorio in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yuri Paraense, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Comunardo Villa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Yuri Paraense made a huge save. After taking down the ball on CA Boca Jrs's corner Dennis Castagna fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yuri Paraense quite easily take care of the ball. CA Boca Jrs made a substitution. Armando Garofalo replaced Comunardo Villa. Ercole Ceresoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 72 minutes CA Boca Jrs's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedrinho Castro who took care of the corner kick. Pedrinho Castro made a great header on Nitra FC's corner, it was just that CA Boca Jrs's Ercole Ceresoli managed to reach the ball for a save. Armando Garofalo came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Yuri Paraense could save by the left post. In the 78th minute Daniele Di Gregorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Armando Garofalo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yuri Paraense. Nitra FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Garofalo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. A collision led to CA Boca Jrs getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Fabiano Paglione hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Armando Garofalo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Yuri Paraense, passed just outside the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zézinho Machado during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Nitra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Machado to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Nitra FC's Yuri Paraense got control of the ball when Armando Garofalo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CA Boca Jrs walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
