Hílton Magalhães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernardinho Penha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Yuri Paraense when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
The wind increased when Matheus Pitta made the kick off in the second half. Pedrinho Castro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hílton Magalhães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Botinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho Bittencourt. Marco Nóbrega struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Yuri Paraense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Botinho FC. Christiano Rezende's late challenge caught a Nitra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christiano Rezende helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Botinho FC's Christiano Rezende got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When Bernardinho Penha fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Botinho FC's protests and gave Bernardinho Penha a yellow card for diving instead. Hílton Magalhães came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Nitra FC's Alexandre Mendonça. But to his dismay, Alexandre Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Hílton Magalhães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedrinho Castro in the 90th minute. Yuri Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardinho Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle sounded Nitra FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Botinho FC.
