In the 26th match minute, CF JABATOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Osorio to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by CF JABATOS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Germano de Amorim was slow to take the kick. During this time JEC - FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led JEC - FC's Germano de Amorim to fire away a dangerous shot which Serafin Dominguez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Baptista in the 30th minute of play forced CF JABATOS's goalkeeper Serafin Dominguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Higinio Ovando reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roberto Oliveira. The goal made the score 1-2. Julio Baptista scored 1-3 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serafin Dominguez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Serafin Dominguez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Carlos Toscano went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Serafin Dominguez came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by JEC - FC's Douglas Meira. But to his dismay, Douglas Meira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elpidio Efraim was the one to do the kick off. When Bernardo Osorio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 53 minutes had been played. The supporters of JEC - FC booed when CF JABATOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Osorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the game, JEC - FC's Julio Baptista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serafin Dominguez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. José Carlos Toscano struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Serafin Dominguez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JEC - FC. Serafin Dominguez was a little too slow when Douglas Meira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-7. Serafin Dominguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Meira in the 67th minute of the match. After 68 minutes CF JABATOS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Germano de Amorim who took care of the corner kick. The corner led JEC - FC's Germano de Amorim to fire away a dangerous shot which Serafin Dominguez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, CF JABATOS's goalkeeper Serafin Dominguez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Baptista. Serafin Dominguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Serafin Dominguez made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Julio Baptista sent off a good shot on target. Douglas Meira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Serafin Dominguez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 83 minutes into the match, JEC - FC's Douglas Meira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafin Dominguez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The CF JABATOS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. JEC - FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
