After 15 played minutes Elite™- FC Galácticos got a freekick which was hit by Ulysses Bezerra. With his leg Sebastião Garcia managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when São José City - FSCMZ's Nelsinho Cunha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nelsinho Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastião Garcia didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when São José City - FSCMZ's Roger Costa shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Hélder Severo came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Elite™- FC Galácticos's Cristóvão Maciel. But to his dismay, Cristóvão Maciel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Elite™- FC Galácticos were furious when Edgard Cavalcante was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Elite™- FC Galácticos! The referee gave São José City - FSCMZ a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luiz Paulo Leão, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Elite™- FC Galácticos's Sebastião Garcia. 2-1.

After some careless play in the São José City - FSCMZ defense, Cristóvão Maciel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélder Severo. The São José City - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélder Severo should have stopped the shot. Sebastião Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 74th minute of the match Richard Torres shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hélder Severo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dito Xavier charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dito Xavier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Hortêncio Arruda fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored São José City - FSCMZ's protests and gave Hortêncio Arruda a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, São José City - FSCMZ's Hortêncio Arruda got a free kick in the 76th minute. The São José City - FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when São José City - FSCMZ's Roger Costa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nelsinho Cunha hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Elite™- FC Galácticos were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing São José City - FSCMZ to leave the ground with a draw.
