João Pedro Goiano hit a great ball. Saverio Caradaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Sebastião Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Marcial Gines made a precise shot to the right of Sebastião Garcia. Elite™- FC Galácticos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcial Gines in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastião Garcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Marcial Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcial Gines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastião Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amancio Lando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Pedro Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's Aldo Kemen got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 34 minutes, Richard Torres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elite™- FC Galácticos and the LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Elite™- FC Galácticos getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Richard Torres hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Eguzki in the 36th minute of play forced Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalkeeper Sebastião Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastião Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Eguzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saverio Caradaro during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristóvão Maciel to strike the kick off in the second half. Norberto Dantel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Gino Santos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amancio Lando came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Elite™- FC Galácticos reached it. Amancio Lando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademar Velloso in the 61st minute of play. After 63 played minutes Elite™- FC Galácticos got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Cavalcante. Thanks to some nice moves Marcial Gines could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Sebastião Garcia however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Abreu in the 74th minute of play forced LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's goalkeeper Amancio Lando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 79 minutes, Ademar Velloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elite™- FC Galácticos and the LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP booed when Elite™- FC Galácticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademar Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amancio Lando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's Amancio Lando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Abreu in the 90th minute of play. The LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
