Edgard Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Elite™- FC Galácticos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hugo Fidele was slow to take the kick. During this time El ultimo's players had a chance to rest. The corner led El ultimo's Hugo Fidele to fire away a dangerous shot which Sebastião Garcia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, El ultimo's Hugo Fidele nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastião Garcia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalkeeper Sebastião Garcia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jonas Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jonas Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Elite™- FC Galácticos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Abreu couldn't finish the play. After having played for 32 minutes, Hugo Fidele managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El ultimo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Fidele was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Richard Torres charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Torres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th minute, Richard Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Napier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Benicio Felipillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half El ultimo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute of the match El ultimo got a corner. Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hugo Fidele ran over to the corner to take the kick. El ultimo's Niceto Pere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Maciel in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Edgard Cavalcante got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, El ultimo's Hugo Fidele ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sebastião Garcia. Sebastião Garcia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Benicio Felipillo's late challenge caught a Elite™- FC Galácticos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Felipillo helped the player get up and apologised. Rafael Napier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Sebastião Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, El ultimo's Federico Louis got a free kick in the 79th minute. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Richard Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastião Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Napier in the 83rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgard Torres during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Edgard Torres got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Rafael Napier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Sebastião Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, El ultimo's Diego Belo got a free kick in the 90th minute. After having played for 93 minutes, Jonas Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elite™- FC Galácticos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Abreu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in El ultimo's zone, Jonas Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niceto Pere came out of the goal and Jonas Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Elite™- FC Galácticos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching El ultimo's performance. The match ended with a win for El ultimo.
