In the 14th minute Edson Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Dominguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edson Araújo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Serafin Dominguez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 22nd match minute, CF JABATOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Efraim to maneuver through the defense. CF JABATOS's Serafin Dominguez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save CF JABATOS from getting a goal against them. Dé Souza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guido Karmel went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Edson Araújo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG fans jumped to their feet. Guido Karmel charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guido Karmel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG made a substitution. Edu Cavalcante replaced Gualter Maranhense. In the 49th minute, Guido Karmel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edson Araújo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 96th minute Tales Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Dominguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 98th minute Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG were awarded a corner. Bruno-Henrique Corsi went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Bruno-Henrique Corsi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Serafin Dominguez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG fully deserved thier win.
