Spectators: 7459 (Terracing: 5595, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) In the 3rd minute, Higinio Ovando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, CF JABATOS's Serafin Dominguez got control of the ball when Nelsinho Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hélder Severo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elpidio Efraim went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, CF JABATOS's Enrique Thomas got a free kick in the 9th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as São José City - FSCMZ's Tostão Mota slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Serafin Dominguez. That made the score 1-1 after 10 minutes of play. Elpidio Efraim might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hélder Severo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elpidio Efraim ran back to his position shaking his head. Roger Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Serafin Dominguez made a huge save. CF JABATOS's Santos Lapurdi got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CF JABATOS's attentive Daniel Enetz managed to snatch the ball when Tostão Mota made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, Elpidio Efraim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hélder Severo. São José City - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elpidio Efraim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Hélder Severo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Efraim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the game, CF JABATOS's Elpidio Efraim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hélder Severo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Hélder Severo came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by CF JABATOS's Elpidio Efraim. But to his dismay, Elpidio Efraim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Elpidio Efraim made the kick off in the second half. Elpidio Efraim might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hélder Severo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elpidio Efraim ran back to his position shaking his head. Higinio Ovando kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Roger Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafin Dominguez was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 58th minute, CF JABATOS's Daniel Enetz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. Hélder Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Efraim in the 64th minute of the match. After 65 minutes, Moisés Montenegro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the São José City - FSCMZ and the CF JABATOS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes São José City - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Montenegro. Hélder Severo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Efraim in the 66th minute of play. Hélder Severo was a little too slow when Elpidio Efraim got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 1-7. Elpidio Efraim struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Hélder Severo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CF JABATOS. Edgar Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, CF JABATOS's Gaston Urritz tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, São José City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Hélder Severo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Efraim. CF JABATOS's Daniel Enetz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tostão Mota, made in the 89th minute of the game. CF JABATOS's Serafin Dominguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelsinho Cunha in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CF JABATOS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
