The supporters of El ultimo booed when São José City - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvinho Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Orlando Peio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El ultimo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave São José City - FSCMZ the free kick. A collision led to El ultimo getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roger Costa to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Peio got free with Hélder Severo in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 52 minutes into the game, Luiz Paulo Leão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. São José City - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El ultimo the free kick. After 55 played minutes, El ultimo's Federico Louis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hélder Severo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El ultimo reached it. The supporters of São José City - FSCMZ booed when El ultimo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Balesio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, El ultimo's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Costa came free, but Gualterio Lluc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Hugo Fidele managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El ultimo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Fidele was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
