Sydney Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viveque Savimbi in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Wellington Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maurício Varanda. Urutu F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wellington Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedrinho Teixeira got free with Maurício Varanda in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 33 played minutes Ediberto Mazza rounded Urutu F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. After some careless play in the Urutu F.C. defense, Ediberto Mazza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurício Varanda. The Urutu F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurício Varanda should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viveque Savimbi made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s goalkeeper Sydney Bittencourt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 54 played minutes Urutu F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Zé Lando. In the 56th minute, Ediberto Mazza made a precise shot to the right of Maurício Varanda. Urutu F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Montenegro in the 60th minute of play forced Urutu F.C.'s goalkeeper Maurício Varanda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Moco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Sydney Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Ediberto Mazza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurício Varanda was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. The audience was convinced that Ediberto Mazza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurício Varanda was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Luís Malheiro scored to the left of an out of position Sydney Bittencourt, making the score, 8-1.
