The tension between the Bahía é Carnaval and the Ornopata players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes Bahía é Carnaval got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Lia. Sergio Romeri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xosepe Iñigo in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Calle Inda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Romeri. Bahía é Carnaval's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Calle Inda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Roldan Alzaga scored 2-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergio Romeri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper Sergio Romeri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xencio Tricio. After 33 played minutes Ornopata got a freekick which was hit by Armando Salto. Desiderio Demario hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Sergio Romeri successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Calle Inda's late challenge caught a Bahía é Carnaval's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Calle Inda helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes Ornopata got a freekick which was hit by Calle Inda. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roldan Alzaga to make the kick off. Bahía é Carnaval's Sergio Romeri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Inda in the 51st minute of play. After 53 minutes of play, Ornopata's Roldan Alzaga made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sergio Romeri was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 55th minute, Uriel Chorche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergio Romeri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calle Inda in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roldan Alzaga in the 69th minute of play forced Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper Sergio Romeri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bahía é Carnaval getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Desiderio Demario hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Roldan Alzaga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ornopata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bahía é Carnaval the free kick.
