The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Frichoso came free, but Nelson Cloarec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Club Sportivo Italiano were awarded a corner. Natalio Louis went to the cornerflag to take it. Natalio Louis made a great header on Club Sportivo Italiano's corner, it was just that Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Nelson Cloarec managed to reach the ball for a save. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Nelson Cloarec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Frichoso in the 11th minute of play. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Club Sportivo Italiano. Natalio Louis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nelson Cloarec. 0-1. If Teo Feliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nelson Cloarec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Feliz in the 21st minute of the match. In the 31st minute Jesus Frichoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Cloarec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nelson Cloarec came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Sportivo Italiano's Jesus Frichoso. But to his dismay, Jesus Frichoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Club Sportivo Italiano's Jesus Frichoso got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 37 minutes of play, Club Sportivo Italiano's Teo Feliz made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nelson Cloarec was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute, Teo Feliz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Sportivo Italiano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jesus Frichoso made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teo Feliz got free with Nelson Cloarec in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Club Sportivo Italiano's Teo Feliz in 54 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Nelson Cloarec guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Saturnino Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teo Feliz struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Nelson Cloarec didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Sportivo Italiano. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Teo Feliz put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Nelson Cloarec. Nelson Cloarec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Feliz in the 66th minute of the match. Nelson Cloarec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Frichoso in the 67th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Teo Feliz put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Nelson Cloarec. Nelson Cloarec made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Teo Feliz sent off a good shot on target. Davy Giacomoni hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Nelson Cloarec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Louis in the 85th minute of the match. Nelson Cloarec was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Teo Feliz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teo Feliz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Jesus Frichoso took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Nelson Cloarec to make any attempt to save it. Teo Feliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Nelson Cloarec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Sportivo Italiano's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
