Sergio Romeri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Froila Espin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Desiderio Demario in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Pereta in the 23rd minute of play forced Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper Sergio Romeri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes of play, Bahía é Carnaval's Desiderio Demario made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Froila Espin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sergio Romeri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xoan Barbera, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Bahía é Carnaval's Sergio Romeri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xoan Barbera in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Desiderio Demario got free with Froila Espin in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xoan Barbera might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergio Romeri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xoan Barbera ran back to his position shaking his head. Bahía é Carnaval's Sergio Romeri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xoan Barbera in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Xoan Barbera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergio Romeri was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Xoan Barbera scored 2-3 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergio Romeri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquim Pereta was the one to do the kick off. Bahía é Carnaval's attentive Horacio Lia managed to snatch the ball when Dalmau Tecla made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. After 59 minutes of play, Golden Dragón F.C's Xoan Barbera made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sergio Romeri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Desiderio Demario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Golden Dragón F.C's Xoan Barbera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergio Romeri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Froila Espin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Demario, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. A collision led to Golden Dragón F.C getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mitxaut Bargues hit a great ball. Froila Espin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Demario in the 76th minute of play. Bahía é Carnaval made a substitution. Ceferino Miro replaced Sebastian Tello. In the 81st minute Bahía é Carnaval were awarded a corner. Uriel Chorche went to the cornerflag to take it. Xoan Barbera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Bahía é Carnaval booed when Golden Dragón F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chaime Alamon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Dragón F.C's zone, Ceferino Miro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froila Espin came out of the goal and Ceferino Miro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Xoan Barbera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Dragón F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. The supporters of Bahía é Carnaval booed when Golden Dragón F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mitxaut Bargues didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Desiderio Demario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Golden Dragón F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
