With his leg Obregón Busto managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Cabildo FC's Julián Moya fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Ornopata's Obregón Busto got control of the ball when Gualberto Pinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute, Fernán Albuerne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roldan Alzaga in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricard Campbell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xencio Tricio in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricard Campbell saved Cabildo FC from getting behind. Ornopata's Obregón Busto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Alcázar in the 34th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julián Moya got free with Obregón Busto in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Gualberto Pinto fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cabildo FC's protests and gave Gualberto Pinto a yellow card for diving instead. Obregón Busto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Alcázar, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Soriano Budinich scored 1-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Obregón Busto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some careless play in the Ornopata defense, Pedro Alcázar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Obregón Busto. The Ornopata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Obregón Busto should have stopped the shot. Ornopata's attack was well implemented in the 66th minute, but when Xencio Tricio was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Xosepe Iñigo in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cabildo FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ornopata had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
