SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Joel Haimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan das Neves in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV defense, Yan das Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Haimar. The SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Haimar should have stopped the shot. Sydney Torres might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Haimar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sydney Torres ran back to his position shaking his head. Joel Haimar came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Alvinegro Carioca's Sydney Torres. But to his dismay, Sydney Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With a little luck, Alvinegro Carioca's Cássio Aguiar got control of the ball when Hernan Beat tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Torres came free, but Joel Haimar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Alvinegro Carioca's Sydney Torres got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute Carmelo Inocente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio Aguiar was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Carmelo Inocente capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carmelo Inocente really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sydney Torres to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Inocente in the 54th minute of play forced Alvinegro Carioca's goalkeeper Cássio Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Carmelo Inocente notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Alvinegro Carioca's Cássio Aguiar. Hernan Beat took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cássio Aguiar. Cássio Aguiar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-2. Cássio Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Honrio in the 76th minute of the match. Nunez Honrio took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cássio Aguiar. Cássio Aguiar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-2. 87 minutes into the match, SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's goalkeeper Joel Haimar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sydney Torres. Nunez Honrio struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Cássio Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV. Rony Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Joel Haimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Leandro Fidencio got a free kick in the 92nd minute. There was no doubt that SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV were the better team. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
