The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Folke Österlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mircea Foltea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Folke Österlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Engin Dönmez in the 4th minute of the match. Luiz Fernando Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mircea Foltea in the 14th minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Folke Österlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Catugi FC booed when GoooooL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mircea Foltea didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Catugi FC's Folke Österlund got control of the ball when Onuralp Kılıçalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Diguinho Monteiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cristi Miheș was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcel Travassos hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Tiaguinho Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 24 minutes of play, GoooooL's 黄超亦 made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Folke Österlund was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute, Tiaguinho Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Folke Österlund made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when 黄超亦 sent off a good shot on target. 黄超亦 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Folke Österlund made a huge save. In the 37th minute of the match, 黄超亦 got a very nice opportunity to score, but Folke Österlund was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some careless play in the Catugi FC defense, 黄超亦 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Folke Österlund. The Catugi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Folke Österlund should have stopped the shot. 黄超亦s short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Folke Österlund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, GoooooL's Onuralp Kılıçalp got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diguinho Monteiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Folke Österlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviu Filimon in the 51st minute of play. Cristi Miheș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diguinho Monteiro in the 53rd minute. Catugi FC were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after GoooooL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tiaguinho Fernandez took the corner. The corner ended in Tiaguinho Fernandez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GoooooL's Cristi Miheș did a great save. In the 59th match minute, Catugi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernani Travassos to maneuver through the defense. After 60 minutes of play, GoooooL's 黄超亦 made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Folke Österlund was left in no man's land by his defense there! 65 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mircea Foltea came free, but Folke Österlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Catugi FC's Folke Österlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Engin Dönmez in the 67th minute of play. After some careless play in the Catugi FC defense, Engin Dönmez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Folke Österlund. The Catugi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Folke Österlund should have stopped the shot. In the 69th minute Engin Dönmez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Österlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Folke Österlund came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by GoooooL's 黄超亦. But to his dismay, 黄超亦 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Folke Österlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 黄超亦, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Catugi FC's Reginaldo Veiga got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When GoooooL's 黄超亦 in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Catugi FC's goalie prevented a goal. Folke Österlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Engin Dönmez's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. In the 96th minute 黄超亦 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Österlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Catugi FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GoooooL.
