The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassiano Esteves got free with Vlad Zâncă in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th match minute, Red Proud FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Palmiro Manso to maneuver through the defense. After 14 played minutes Red Proud FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Valverde. Pascoal Modesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Cucerdean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vlad Zâncă was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Egídio Baptista capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Egídio Baptista really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 25th minute, Mihai Isbășoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Red Proud FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Palmiro Manso hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Mihai Isbășoiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pascoal Modesto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 36 played minutes Red Proud FC got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Macena. Mihail Ciocâlteu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cassiano Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marius Cucerdean to make the kick off. If Egídio Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cassiano Esteves in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vlad Zâncă saved White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- from getting behind. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Vlad Zâncă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Baptista in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- booed when Red Proud FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Palmiro Manso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vlad Zâncă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassiano Esteves in the 71st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Mihail Ciocâlteu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pascoal Modesto was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 74th minute White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- were awarded a corner. Radu Bântu went to the cornerflag to take it.
