When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Horácio Aguiar put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Abel de Brito. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Horácio Aguiar sped through C.R. KRAKER 81's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abel de Brito. Horácio Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mário Pena charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mário Pena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes October 04 got a freekick which was hit by Mário Pena. 27 minutes into the match, Nelsinho Vergílio notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of October 04's Narciso Guimarães. Narciso Guimarães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 32 played minutes C.R. KRAKER 81 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. October 04 were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Paulo Paes to make the kick off. C.R.
