Spectators: 7463 (Terracing: 5598, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teodoro Valle started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Xurupita FC's Angelo da Fonseca got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind FMArgentina's goalkeeper Romulo Ursino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Oliverio Mazo made a precise shot to the right of Arlindo Meireles. Xurupita FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. FMArgentina's Gaudencio Inautzi got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaudencio Inautzi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arlindo Meireles. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. Gaudencio Inautzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yan Rosado hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Arlindo Meireles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaudencio Inautzi in the 33rd minute. Oliverio Mazo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Arlindo Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaudencio Inautzi to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Gaudencio Inautzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arlindo Meireles. Xurupita FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaudencio Inautzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 62nd minute, Gaudencio Inautzi made a precise shot to the right of Arlindo Meireles. Xurupita FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Gaudencio Inautzi charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaudencio Inautzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gaudencio Inautzi kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Frédson Donato ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romulo Ursino was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 76th match minute, Xurupita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nildo Miranda to maneuver through the defense. When FMArgentina's Gaudencio Inautzi in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Xurupita FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind FMArgentina's goalkeeper Romulo Ursino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baldomero Chumo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arlindo Meireles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Gaudencio Inautzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Meireles having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gaudencio Inautzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arlindo Meireles was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. The supporters of Xurupita FC booed when FMArgentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliverio Mazo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xurupita FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
