When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Elizardo Arzube sped through FMArgentina's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Romulo Ursino. In the 17th minute, El Pinar's Rosario Encalada dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 21 played minutes El Pinar got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Rios. In the 28th minute of the match, Rosario Encalada tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Romulo Ursino saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. El Pinar's Aztore Sarantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Inautzi in the 30th minute of play. Aztore Sarantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Duarte in the 32nd minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Urtsua Flayre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Pinar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FMArgentina the free kick. After 36 played minutes El Pinar got a freekick which was hit by Urtsua Flayre. Miguel Dominix kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. FMArgentina's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Rosario Encalada scored to the left of an out of position Romulo Ursino, making the score, 3-0. After some careless play in the FMArgentina defense, Elizardo Arzube kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romulo Ursino. The FMArgentina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Ursino should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaudencio Inautzi was the one to do the kick off. When Camilo Precioso fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FMArgentina's protests and gave Camilo Precioso a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FMArgentina's Camilo Precioso got a free kick in the 57th minute. When Gaudencio Inautzi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 61 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Aztore Sarantes was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to El Pinar getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Aztore Sarantes made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Amancio Galsino sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Duarte in the 86th minute of play forced El Pinar's goalkeeper Aztore Sarantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, El Pinar's Elizardo Arzube sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romulo Ursino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FMArgentina's Romulo Ursino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Lazaeta in the 89th minute of play. Romulo Ursino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosario Encalada in the 92nd minute of play. El Pinar were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
