With a left leg Pepe Santoro saved INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB from getting behind. Bart Fenton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Higinio Barros's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Pepe Santoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seb Jennings in the 12th minute of the match. Devon Ricketts was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the game, one of FC ARK CS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Bart Fenton, was totally fooled by INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Higinio Barros, who 19 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Nicholas Searle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pepe Santoro having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Odol to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Nicholas Searle came free, but Pepe Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsenio Erico might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bart Fenton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arsenio Erico ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32ndth minute of the game Higinio Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC ARK CS's Bart Fenton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pepe Santoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zack Hampton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabio Victoro hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute of the match Sebastien Frost sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pepe Santoro skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arsenio Erico during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Candido Mincho was substituted for Fabio Victoro. 55 minutes into the game, Nicholas Searle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pepe Santoro. Nicholas Searle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. FC ARK CS's Nicholas Searle got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 59 played minutes INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Fiz. Zack Hampton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pepe Santoro having to interfere. Pepe Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicholas Searle in the 66th minute of play. Nicholas Searle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pepe Santoro made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Tosh Bateman sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zack Hampton during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB booed when FC ARK CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zack Hampton didn't get a good kick on the ball. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tosh Bateman 76 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. If Camron Lister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Zack Hampton managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC ARK CS's supporters rose to their feet, but Zack Hampton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pepe Santoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the game, FC ARK CS's Zack Hampton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pepe Santoro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Nicholas Searle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pepe Santoro having to interfere. When the match was over FC ARK CS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB throughout the match.
