Hernan Raitin scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uriel Jerrald, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Romulo Juvenal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Laureano Eztebe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Israel Bertol. That made the score 1-1 in the 20 minute of play. Israel Bertol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robustiano Lizardi went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 32nd minute, Robustiano Lizardi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Israel Bertol. The goal made the score 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Lizardi in the 36th minute of play forced BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Israel Bertol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Israel Bertol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robustiano Lizardi went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. In the 43rd match minute, Santa Margarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Gilen to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Gilen in the 53rd minute of play forced BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Israel Bertol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Laureano Eztebe sped through BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Israel Bertol. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Israel Bertol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Gilen in the 58th minute of play. After 58th play minutes Laureano Eztebe shot 6-1, a short shot which went by Israel Bertol and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Santa Margarita booed when BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Niguel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Israel Bertol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Lizardi in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Gilen came free, but Israel Bertol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Santa Margarita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. 74 minutes into the match, Laureano Eztebe notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Israel Bertol. Israel Bertol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Simon Atarratze kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Robustiano Lizardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Bertol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Santa Margarita getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Eriberto Thomas hit a great ball. Uriel Jerrald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Raitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 86th minute, Simon Atarratze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Santa Margarita getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Simon Atarratze hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Santa Margarita's Flavio Misael got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 96th minute Robustiano Lizardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Bertol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santa Margarita's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
